Take care of yourself and join James River Association staff members to learn about the river and become a better steward of our natural resources. \nJoin JRA Restoration Director Amber Ellis for an afternoon of watercolor painting by the river. Amber will share about her experiences working on and for the James\, and how art allows them to slow down and reconnect with the river. Learn and practice simple watercolor techniques to capture your experience by the James. This is for all levels\, art supplies will be provided\, but feel free to bring your own if you have them. \nLocation:James A. DESCRIPTION:Green Infrastructure Stewards are volunteers who work alongside James River Association staff members to maintain stormwater best management practices\, including rain gardens and conservation landscaping\, installed through the Greening Richmond Public Libraries initiative. \nVolunteers who participate in stewardship events will have opportunities to learn about the Greening Richmond Public Libraries initiative\, green infrastructure and stormwater best management practices\, and stewardship skills that can be applied at home and beyond. \nThis event has been cancelled.
