DESCRIPTION:Journey down the James and learn more about the history and structure of the land beneath it. Try your hand at three SOL-aligned\, hands-on activities designed to help students learn more about the geology of Virginia. \nParticipants will receive a custom map and a rock sample kit featuring real rocks and fossils from the banks of the James River. This professional development session is free to attend.
