SUMMARY:Virtual Training: Water Quality Monitor
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers are needed to help us track the health of the James by collecting water samples every Thursday between Memorial Day and Labor Day for our James River Watch Conditions Map! \nNo monitoring or science background is required. We will assign volunteers to sampling teams\, and work with each volunteer to help establish a sampling schedule that fits individual schedules and availability. \nVirtual Training: Wednesday\, April 30th from 5:30-6:30 for volunteers in the following locations: \n\nRobious Landing (Midlothian)\nTucker Park at Maidens Crossing (Goochland)\nPublic Boat Ramp at Scottsville\nRiveredge Park (Madison Heights/Lynchburg)\nBen Salem Wayside (Lexington/Buena Vista)\nPublic Boat Ramp at Buchanan\nHowardsville Boat Ramp (Albemarle County)\nDeep Bottom Park (eastern Henrico County)\nMain Street Bridge in Farmville\n\nRegister now! \nLearn more about the program!
