Welcome to the James River EcoFest! Dive into a day dedicated to celebrating and preserving our vibrant local environment. Join us as we explore the James River Watershed, learn about local ecology, and discover sustainable practices that can make a difference in our community.

- Tree Giveaways: Take home a free tree and help us green our community.
- Rain Barrel Workshop & Raffle: Learn how to collect and use rainwater efficiently at our workshop. Plus, enter our raffle for a chance to win a rain barrel to start your own water-saving journey!
- Trash Cleanup: Join us in making a tangible difference by participating in a community trash cleanup. Help keep our waterways and green spaces pristine.
- Educational Booths: Discover more about the James River Watershed, local flora and fauna, and sustainable living practices. Our interactive booths and staff will provide valuable insights and practical tips.
- Family Fun Activities: Enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities designed to entertain and educate all ages about environmental stewardship.

Experience the James!
Join us for a free 1 hour paddle trip! Participants must be at least 16 years old, and participate with a guardian. We are hosting three paddle trips, but each has very limited spots, so register now to save your space!
Rain Barrel Workshop
Did you know a single rain barrel can collect hundreds, even thousands of gallons of rainwater annually? The $50 registration fee incldues everything you need to complete your rain barrel!
Volunteer for a few hours!
In order to pull of this event, we need volunteers like you! Register to help set up prior to the event, assist in cleaning up after the event, or even just spend a couple of hours at our booths sharing your knowledge!
