James River Association respects the privacy of our online visitors and donors. Any personal information you provide is voluntary. We do not require that you register in order to view our site. There are times, such as when you donate online or request to receive our e-newsletter, when we will collect specific information, such as your name, mailing address, zip code and email address. If you provide an address or email address you may receive communications from us – by mail or electronically – regarding James River Association events, news about river-related topics, and support opportunities.

In the event that we learn we have collected any personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information from our database as quickly as possible.

You have the choice to modify or discontinue any communications you receive from the James River Association. We value your support and care about your time, and want you to feel good about the support you provide to help our mission for a cleaner James River.

2. If you want to continue receiving mail from the James River Association.
3. If you would like to receive our newsletter and periodic email updates.

To keep costs down, the James River Association may exchange lists with other reputable organizations. If you do not want your name exchanged, please contact us.
