Everything you need to know for Primary Election Day!

Virginia’s Primary Election is on Tuesday, June 13th. Your vote is your voice as an American and a Virginian — it’s your opportunity to have a say in important issues that affect your community. Here at the James River Association, we invite you to join us at the polls on Tuesday, June 13th.

What?

In a Primary Election, you have the opportunity to choose which candidate you want to represent your party in the General Election, which will take place on November 7th, 2017.

Who?

The statewide offices of Governor and Lieutenant Governor will be on everyone’s ballot. House of Delegate races as well as local elected offices may also be on your ballot. To see who will be on your ballot, click here

When?

Polling places are open on Tuesday, June 13th from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

What should I bring?

In Virginia, all voters are required to show one form of photo identification. Click here to view the acceptable forms of identification.
