Wandering the Wetlands

Join “Wandering the Wetlands,” a guided exploration of the expansive wetlands at James River State Park. Discover and identify the unique plants and animals that call this habitat home. The one-mile, level-terrain hike is suitable for all ages, and comfortable shoes are recommended. Don’t forget your camera or binoculars to get a better look at the local ecosystem! The event is free, though standard park admission or parking fees apply, and no registration is required.
