Backyard Buffer Workshop
September 26 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Free

The health of the James River begins on land, and our streamside forests are the river’s first line of defense. These essential natural areas consist of the trees, shrubs, and other vegetation running along the banks of our waterways. Join the James River Association on Saturday, September 26, to learn about riparian buffers and resources available for riparian buffer restoration projects. Participants will gain a better understanding of riparian buffers and learn about resources available to residents interested in restoring the health of riparian areas in their yards. An optional tour of healthy riparian areas in nearby Larus Park will follow the workshop. Please click here to register.
