Community Tree Planting at East End Branch Library
November 20 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Join the James River Association for a community tree planting at East End Branch Library on Friday, November 20. Volunteers will help plant native trees in the neighborhood surrounding the library as part of an ongoing effort to increase urban tree canopy in Richmond’s Fairmount neighborhood.
This hands-on volunteer opportunity is a great way to spend time outdoors, work alongside JRA staff and community members, and make a lasting contribution to a greener and healthier neighborhood. Two volunteer shifts are available from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00-4:00 PM. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required. Sign up to volunteer at https://form.jotform.com/262236453849162.
