River Hero Homes Webinar: Compost for Healthy Soil

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, food is the most common material sent to landfills. More than half of greenhouse gas emissions from landfills come from wasted food. The good news? This waste can be put to better use through composting. Composting is the practice of recycling nutrients in organic materials. Compost is a biologically-stable soil amendment that is produced through the decomposition of organic materials including food scraps, yard trimmings, and paper products.
