Virtual Training: Water Quality Monitor
April 30 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Volunteers are needed to help us track the health of the James by collecting water samples every Thursday between Memorial Day and Labor Day for our James River Watch Conditions Map!
No monitoring or science background is required. We will assign volunteers to sampling teams, and work with each volunteer to help establish a sampling schedule that fits individual schedules and availability.
Virtual Training: Wednesday, April 30th from 5:30-6:30 for volunteers in the following locations:
- Robious Landing (Midlothian)
- Tucker Park at Maidens Crossing (Goochland)
- Public Boat Ramp at Scottsville
- Riveredge Park (Madison Heights/Lynchburg)
- Ben Salem Wayside (Lexington/Buena Vista)
- Public Boat Ramp at Buchanan
- Howardsville Boat Ramp (Albemarle County)
- Deep Bottom Park (eastern Henrico County)
- Main Street Bridge in Farmville
