FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
On Sunday, September 11, Lynchburg residents will once again take to the James River for the James River Splash & Dash. The event, a fundraiser for the James River Association, takes place on Percival’s Island and features a 2-mile trail run followed by an inner tube race across the James River.
Participants should be ready to have fun and get wet. A family friendly after party at Kegney Brothers in downtown Lynchburg will take place after the race.
Racers age 10 and up are welcome to participate. To compete, register online by Thursday,September 8, at www.jrsplashanddash.org. Registration is $25 per person and includes an event t-shirt.
